Flowrox Oy, a leading manufacturer of industrial valves and pumps based in Lappeenranta, Finland, has acquired Polar-Automaatio Oy, a Finnish company specialising in the design, overall delivery and maintenance of industrial automation systems.

Flowrox Oy, a manufacturer of industrial valves and pumps, has acquired NovaTek AB, Swedish filtration technology company. This acquisition complements Flowrox s product offering, including filter maintenance and spare parts services, and a growing variety of automation and accompanying services.

Flowrox Geobag consists of Flowrox’s high performance Packaged Pumping System and Flowrox’s LPP-T (transfer pump) to ensure chemical dosing ability and high-performance pumping. The product is a water-tight floor construction with a drain valve that enables closed and clean filtration and dewatering process.

Flowrox is glad to announce it has officially opened its sixth subsidiary Flowrox Spa in Santiago, Chile.

Flowrox delivered 148 valves to Polish fertilizer producer for their power plant, which has been an ongoing development project since 2014.

Nuutti Vartiainen, the founder of Larox and Larox Flowsys (now Flowrox), has passed away at the age of 91. Nuutti was hospitalized two days prior to passing away on Sunday afternoon on 15 January 2017.

Flowrox has recently won a project delivery to HUSAB Uranium mine in Namibia which is one of the biggest uranium mines in the world. Jukka Koskela, the new CEO of Flowrox Oy started his work on 15th May 2015. Mr. Koskela came to Flowrox from Outotec, where he had responsibilities as the Vice President of Global Product Management. His main task was to turn well known project oriented house into a customer oriented product house with a competitive product and service offering.
