Atlas Copco takes over Cologne-based compressed air specialist

Armstrong Fluid Technology has relocated its sales office from Mannheim, Germany, to a larger site in Frankfurt to support the company’s European expansion.

Sulzer announces the opening of its new purpose-built, 1,680-square-meter service center in Lausitz, Germany. Hosting a mechanical seal repair shop, the facility is authorized to perform repairs, retrofits, reverse engineering and parts manufacturing on all types of rotating equipment using enhanced digital technologies.

Atlas Copco has acquired Maziak Compressor Services Ltd., a UK distributor of air compressors, nitrogen generators and process cooling equipment as well as related services and support.

Atlas Copco has acquired C.P. Service SRL, a compressor distributor and service provider located in Naples in the south of Italy.

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire Trillium US Inc. The company provides vacuum pump services to semiconductor and general vacuum customers. It also has a small manufacturing business focused on piston and cryogenic pumps.

As productivity demands on operators increase, pumps across industry need to adapt to meet new application challenges. In response, Sulzer is launching OEM-X line – the only 24/7 quality pump service with flexible repair and retrofit solutions for any pump brand.
