ABB Chairman Hubertus von Grünberg and Michael Treschow have decided not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Board of Directors of ABB unanimously nominated Peter Voser to succeed Hubertus von Grünberg as Chairman.
ABB’s focus on profitable organic growth and the related strategic initiatives resulted in a strong order increase across all regions in the third quarter.
ABB reported strong order growth, stable revenues and a significant increase in cash from operations for the second quarter of 2014. The lower operational EBITDA margin mainly reflects ongoing project-related challenges in the Power Systems (PS) division.
