Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems is pleased to announce that the swiss-based engineering company NSB Gas Processing is now part of the global Busch group. The NSB Gas Processing business has been renamed Busch NSB and brings a highly regarded team of engineers and a portfolio of liquid ring vacuum pumps, compressors and systems to the Busch group.
Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems has now launched an entirely new series of liquid ring vacuum pumps. The new Dolphin LM/LT vacuum pumps have been completely redesigned but are based on proven liquid ring vacuum technology. With these new vacuum pumps, Busch has been able to optimize an existing product that has become an established part of many industrial processes, resulting in the development of extremely powerful, yet energy-efficient vacuum generators.
Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems set itself the task of making the design of its vacuum pumps and systems even more efficient, and has therefore developed the new vacuum concept 5 Elements of Efficiency . This concept addresses five elements which have a major impact on the process stability, availability and process performance of a vacuum system.
Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems offers tailored vacuum solutions for pneumatic suction conveying and process technology.
The vacuum technology specialist showed where energy-saving potential in vacuum packaging exists and how this potential can be easily used. For this purpose, the vacuum supply must be analysed together with the entire packaging process and all parameters must be optimally suited to fit one another. Busch offers this service in the form of a special “VacuumAudit” The goal of this audit is to achieve optimum energy efficiency for the packager.
DMK Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH produces sliced cheese and Mozzarella at its production facility in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany. The various types of sliced cheese and Mozzarella blocks are vacuum packed after processing in several packaging lines. The vacuum supply for the packaging machines is provided by a Busch centralised vacuum system, which supplies both the packaging lines and the thermoforming machines.
One of the leading European manufacturers of luxury yachts is Galeon, which operates two production facilities near Gdańsk, Poland. Galeon motor yachts are up to 25 m long, with main components such as the hull, deck and the superstructure constructed of glass fibre reinforced plastic. This material is either hand-laminated or produced by a vacuum infusion process.
The first vacuum pump with hygienic design in the world has been introduced by Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems. This new rotary vane vacuum pump was developed specially for foodstuffs packaging with tray sealers and thermoforming machines, and is designed to be cleaned using steam jets and conventional detergents.
Busch Vacuum South Africa Ltd. has opened a new office in the Durban area.
