Spring, the UK & Ireland centre of excellence for water innovation, has announced the appointment of three new board members to help steer the organisation into its next phase. Graeme Wright, Christian Inglis and Anthony David King take up their positions as Spring moves forward with an enhanced programme to support the water sector with its innovation strategy.
Collaboration was the key to success for the seven winners of the 2023 Lighthouse Awards, which were presented during BlueTech Forum in Edinburgh, Scotland. Pioneers and visionaries within the water sector were recognised at a ceremony held at the National Museum of Scotland on 17th May. Effective July 1, Karen Ohland has begun her term as the 141st president of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society announced during its annual meeting in June. Ohland is an ASME Fellow and has been an active member of the Society since 1983.
