Wilo has been awarded the AI Innovation Award by KI Park e. V. The multinational water technology group has been recognised for “Wilo Speaking Waters”: As a component of the Wilo WATER AI platform, this AI solution will in future convert operating data from water management into predictive analyses and specific recommendations for operators. With this application, Wilo is facilitating predictive operation – and thus the transition to the AI era.

Wilo takes home two prestigious German Brand Awards (GBA): the water technology group was awarded gold in the “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation – Brand Strategy – B2B” category for its integrated corporate and brand strategy, “Pioneering WATER AI for You”, as well as the top honour, “Best of Best”, in the “Brand Strategy of the Year” category.

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) announces that entries are now open for the 2027 Pump Industry Awards, inviting companies, organisations, and individuals from across the pump sector to showcase their achievements in one of industry’s longest standing and most highly respected awards programmes.

Professor Joan Bray Rose has been awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize 2026 for her work as a key pioneer in the development and global adoption of Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA), a science-based approach to safeguard the quality of drinking water, as well as water reuse systems.

The winners of the 2026 Pump Industry Awards were revealed at a glittering Gala Dinner and Presentation Ceremony held on the evening of 19th March at The Hilton Hotel, St George’s Park, Burton upon Trent. Now in its 26th year, the event once again brought together leading figures from across the pump sector to celebrate excellence, innovation, and achievement.
