11.10.2017

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) has signed up two new members recently, which it attributes to nothing more that its consistent and ongoing commitment to fully represent the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pumping equipment on both the domestic and international stage.

One such company who will begin to enjoy the benefits of membership is Cumbrian based water services and booster specialist, Flowtech Water Solutions, which began life in 1996, supplying a large number of standard and bespoke products from their base in Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria. In 2010 the company underwent a massive transformation with additions to the management structure and movement of their base to a purpose built unit in Flookburgh, Cumbria. Significant investment has followed, projecting the business forward and bringing it up-to-date with the latest industry requirements.

Flowtech Water Solutions now has a comprehensive portfolio of products that are supplied or manufactured to exactly meet the client’s needs. Working nationally with Local Councils, Design Engineers, Mechanical Contractors, Developers and End Users Flowtech is now firmly established as a major force in the market.

Managing Director, Andrew Leech, commented: “We’re delighted to be joining the BPMA, which we feel sure will help us in our continued efforts to deliver the best possible service to both our existing clients and of course to our expanding list of new customers.” He added, “We’re looking forward to the opportunity of showcasing our work amongst fellow industry professionals and to network and share ideas and best practice with our peers.”

Another company who has recently taken the decision to become a BPMA Member is Koller UK Ltd. A member of the Koller Wordwide Industry Group, the business specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of whirlpool components and systems. Having been operating for more than three decades, its enviable market position has been achieved through its ongoing development of hydrodynamic technology and its ability to produce a complete range of products in-house.

Speaking of these recent additions to the BPMA family, Steve Schofield, Director and Chief Executive of the BPMA said, “We are delighted to welcome these two companies into the BPMA, and afford them all of the support services at our disposal. Their varied product and service offerings dovetail nicely with that of other members, and we look forward to developing strong and mutually rewarding relationships with each of them."
