The decision has been made: The production of Eta pumps at KSB’s headquarters will be expanded to become the centre of excellence for the latest generation of electronically controlled pumps in Europe. KSB will be spending around 60 million euros on this over the next five years – one of the largest single investments the company has ever made. KSB will have to do without the funding applied for from the federal government.

Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer KSB closed the 2023 financial year with record figures for order intake and sales revenue. The EBIT margin (earnings before finance income / expense and income tax) of 7.9 % reached the level originally targeted for 2025.

The growing scale of water transport systems in the past few years has resulted in a steady increase in the volume flow rates demanded of the pumps installed, which in turn has required ever larger pump sizes. Responding to this development, KSB Group has expanded its RDLO type series from 21 sizes to 33.

The KSB Group presents the latest generation of its AmaProp mixers for use in the sludge and biological waste water treatment.

Irrigating large areas of agriculture involves the use of vast quantities of water, often at times when temperatures rise and water can be in short supply. To be wholly effective, irrigation needs a controlled and measured programme that ensures equal distribution and conservation.

KSB SE & Co. KGaA has added 19 sizes to its MegaCPK type series. This means that users can now choose from 55 sizes with more than 78 hydraulic systems for these standardised chemical pumps. The available materials of grey cast iron, nodular cast iron and cast steel, stainless steel as well as duplex and special alloys, such as titanium and Hastelloy, result in a very wide range of applications.

In March 2023, the pump and valve manufacturer KSB SE & Co KGaA launched a new high-efficiency circulation pump.

KSB, the Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer, continued its very good business performance in the fourth quarter too and closed the financial year with a significant increase in order intake, sales revenue and EBIT. Expectations for order intake were revised upwards already in October.
