Ebara Corporation launches the GSO model for industrial process pumps mainly in China and Southeast Asia markets in June 2019. In addition to existing GS and GSS models, the new GSO model expands Ebara’s product lines. Compatible with different applications ranging from freshwater to chemical solutions, the GS series will be developed as global key products around the world after China and Southeast Asia, which are initial target markets.

Ebara Corporation held the Ebara Hatakeyama Memorial Fund Pump and Chiller Technology Seminar for two days on March 26 and 27, 2019 at the Vietnam – Japan Institute for Human Resources Development (VJCC) in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This is the 8th seminar at VJCC and the 47th seminar in Vietnam.

Ebara Corporation announces that it invested 100 million yen in Ridge-i Inc. with INCJ, Ltd. (former Innovation Network Corporation of Japan) and Ricoh Company to form a basic business alliance with Ridge-i to plan, research, and develop in terms of using AI and IoT technologies.

Ebara Corporation has installed drainage pump facilities at Tsuruga Drainage Pump Station in the Japanese Nakatsuyama district of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

Ebara Corporation held Ebara Hatakeyama Memorial Fund Pump Technology Seminar over two days on February 21 and 22, 2019 at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. More than twenty of such seminars have been held in Cambodia so far.

Recently, in Southeast Asia, the demand for flood control has increased and early recovery from flood damage has become a major issue. Drainage pump trucks equipped with Ebara pumps have also been delivered to Laos and Vietnam in Southeast Asia.

Ebara Corporation donated pumps to Yangon Technological University in Myanmar on December 5 as part of its international cooperation activities through technical guidance. The objective is to deepen their understanding of pump structure, learn how to control them, and so on by experiencing real pumps during the classes.

Ebara held pumps seminars on October 8 at pump factory of Ebara Vietnam Pump Company Limited, a group company of EBARA, in Hai Duong Province Vietnam. A total of 30 teachers and students attended from Thai Nguyen University of Technology.

Ebara held pumps seminars from August 30 to September 5, at Bangkok Thailand. This was the 28th time Ebara held seminars in cooperation with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

Ebara Corporation (Ebara) is delighted to announce the merge-absorption of its wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary Thebe Bombas Hidráulicas Ltda. (THEBE) by Ebara Indústrias Mecânicas e Comércio Ltda. (EIMCO), another wholly-owned subsidiary in Brazil. The surviving entity has the new name as Ebara Bombas América do Sul Ltda. (Ebara Pumps South America – EBAS).
