From 13 to 16 May 2013 AchemAsia will throw open its doors to exhibitors, engineers, design engineers and scientists in Beijing. Since its launching over 20 years ago this event has made a reputation for itself as the foremost international forum for the process industry in Asia.
The Achema 2012 closed its doors on Friday, with numbers of exhibitors and visitors having remained stable. For five days, 167,000 participants found out about the ranges of the 3,773 exhibitors, which they presented on 136,400 m² of exhibition area.
Jens-Uwe Vogel, co-founder of the well-respected software manufacturer VSX – Vogel Software, is going to present a paper on the topic “Energy Savings by Optimal Pump Selection” on June 21, 2012 at this year’s Achema.
Two months before the start of Achema 2012, the outlook on the global flagship event for chemical engineering and biotechnology is exceedingly positive. The organizers expect a slight growth compared to the last event in 2009 when 3,767 exhibitors and more than 173,000 participants were counted.
In the run-up to Achema one thing is already evident: the organizers and the exhibitors are unanimously optimistic about the world’s biggest fair for chemical engineering, biotechnology and environmental protection, which will take place from 18-22 June 2012 in Frankfurt am Main.
A good six months before the start of Achema 2012, a boom is becoming apparent in the field of instrumentation and control. Already now the bookings exceed significantly the final results of Achema 2009.
Pumps and compressors account for a large share of energy consumption in process industry equipment. Best practice which can help further reduce consumption by this type of equipment will be a major theme at Achema 2012 on June 18th to 22nd in Frankfurt/M., Germany.
From 18-22 June 2012 some 3,800 exhibitors and 175,000 visitors will meet at Achema to discuss the challenges of the future. The energy, the shift in the raw material base and also mobility and health are inconceivable without the input of the process industry.

The more compact timeline of the International Exhibition-Congress in comparison to former events met the full approval especially of the exhibitors.
