Thirteen research reports have just been published, which aim to boost the water sector’s knowledge of microplastics and further the understanding of anti-microbial resistance (AMR) in wastewater treatment processes. The reports are from the final stage of the UK Water Industry Research (UKWIR) Chemicals Investigation Programme (CIP3) are now available.

ISH 2023: Pumps and systems become BIM-ready

Strong result for Lantmännen means record dividends for Swedish farmers

Lantmännen’s result for 2022, after net financial items and adjusted for items affecting comparability, amounted to 2 536 MSEK – the highest result ever, and an increase compared to the previous year’s result of 2 202 MSEK. ”Despite high economic uncertainty and a generally unstable external environment, Lantmännen delivered its highest result ever in 2022, and is proposing a record dividend of 1 080 MSEK to our members.

Pushing older equipment to meet an increased duty requirement can sometimes result in reliability issues down the line. However, achieving this by sourcing newer replacements can be costly and prohibitively time consuming. To avoid either outcome, one of the largest oil refineries on the island of Java, Indonesia, relied on the specialist knowledge of Sulzer to refurbish and modernize eight diesel pumps.
