The new ready-to-connect pressure booster systems of the KSB Delta Macro type series are designed for large flow rates. The maximum flow rate per system is 960 m³/h and the maximum pump head is 160 metres as standard. The ready-to-connect units operate fully automatically and are equipped with between two and six Movitec high-efficiency centrifugal pumps.

Irradiation with UV light is considered a safe and chemical-free disinfection process in modern water treatment. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance, only tested UV devices are permitted in public drinking water treatment. According to the company, the Dulcodes LP UV system from ProMinent is the first and currently the only one to be certified according to the current testing standards.

Europe’s water services elected Dr Claudia Castell-Exner on 27 May 2019 as EurEau President for the next two years. Claudia comes from the German association DVGW, where she leads the water management, quality and usage team. She is also the Director of European Water Policy.

Yet another new product the KSB Group is presenting at the ISH trade fair 2019 are its pressure booster systems of the KSB Delta Primo type series with the design variants K, VP and SVP, each offering different features.

Two new valve series – BOA-Control EKB and BOA-Control IMS EKB – will be unveiled by KSB SE & Co. KGaA at this year’s ISH trade fair. The new valves are destined for use in drinking water supply systems, air-conditioning systems and cooling circuits.

At ISH 2019 the KSB Group will be exhibiting a whole range of new pressure booster systems. One of the new introductions is KSB Delta Solo, a type series of fully automatic, ready-to-connect single-pump systems.

Following changes to the drinking water act (TrinkwV 2001) in December 2012, the German Environment Agency was tasked with creating binding rating standards that set requirements for materials in contact with drinking water.
