Électricité de France (EDF) has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ a contract to supply a new pump turbine and associated equipment for the Vouglans/Saut-Mortier pumped storage project in the French Jura region. The project will increase energy storage capacity, enhance grid stability, and support the integration of renewable energy sources.

Xylem Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the Cornell Pump and Roper Pump businesses from Indicor for $1.46 billion. NETZSCH Pumps USA announces that Larry Condon has joined the company as the Biogas Market Manager. In his new position, Larry will assume responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing programs that support Biogas customers, engineering firms, integrators, and associated marketing initiatives for NETZSCH Pumps USA.
