World Pumps China, published by Ringier Trade Media Ltd., has announced Verder Liquids BV as the winner of the 2014 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for the Pumps and Valves Industry.

The title of Heat Pump City of the year 2014 goes to Viborg Municipality, who, with The Joint Heating Plant, had the best project in the finals.

The GreenTec Awards were presented at the Internationales Congress Center München (ICM) on the evening of May 4. The green environmental summit attracted plenty of prominent personalities to the trade-fair center. The GreenTec Awards are the glamorous kick-off event for IFAT.

Pentair s accomplishments will be recognized in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2014.

The new FBM-B 3100 battery motor has now won the renowned Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014. A record number of designers and manufacturers took part in this year s competition to impress the international panel of experts with the design quality of their products.

Pfeiffer Vacuum is the winner of the “INKA” 2013 Award for the best catalog in the Print category. The Pfeiffer Vacuum catalog called “The Vacuum Technology Book” won first prize in the “machinery/equipment” sector, and is also the overall winner.

At their annual kick-off conference in Berlin on 12 March 2014 the German DENEFF corporate initiative awarded KSB Aktiengesellschaft with a jury prize.

At the German Industry Innovation Awards 2014, Voith presented its environmentally friendly, compact turbine StreamDiver and represented hydropower in the competition as innovative technology.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) recognized and honored Lucian Dobrot, Senior Product Engineer, Taco, Inc. as HI’s Young Engineer of the Year award recipient. The award was presented to Mr. Dobrot during HI’s 2014 Annual meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.
