EBARA held an opening ceremony for the office and plant on June 13. The ceremony was attended by 80 people from both inside and outside the company including Mr. Chow Kon Yeow, Governor of Penang, as the chief guest. Tetsuji Togawa, President of the Precision Machinery Company of EBARA CORPORATION, attended and gave a congratulatory speech as well.

Overview
In Malaysia, in recent years, new and expanded investments have been made in the fields of electrical and electronic components such as semiconductors mainly in Penang State. EPMM was newly established as a base for the Precision Machinery Company and will develop sales and support. We will provide enhanced services from a market-in perspective for our customers in there and strengthen our supply chain throughout Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia.

Future plan
We will contribute to manufacturing semiconductors that are compatible with digital technology that keeps advancing and to realizing an affluent lifestyle that will evolve in accordance with our long-term vision "E-Vision 2030."

EBARA aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable development Goals by addressing material issues identified in its long-term vision and executing the medium-term management plan to increase corporate value.
