Filling and emptying of pools and tanks, pumping out flooded basements and boats, irrigation and flushing or in permanent installations as a sump pump.
At Cardo AB’s annual general meeting today, the following members of the board were re-elected: Tuve Johannesson, Fredrik Lundberg, Lennart Nilsson, Bengt Pettersson, Anders Rydin and Kjell Svensson. In addition, Berthold Lindqvist was elected as a new member of the board.
The Frankenthal pumps and valves manufacturer KSB in future will distribute its electronic pump catalog ELOCAT with the pipe calculation program Spaix PipeCalc of VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE.
Spaix PipeCalc is particularly in sewage and building technology the leading program for the duty point calculation of centrifugal pumps.
Cardo announced increased inflow of orders and invoiced sales of its business unit Pumps, where ABS is the major part.
Demand increased in Cardo Pump´s biggest segment, water and wastewater, as did demand from the process industry. In the building services segment, demand was somewhat lower than last year, mainly owing to the weak demand in Germany.
With staff reductions and the closure of some regional offices Cardo Pump, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of pumps, mixers and aerators for water and wastewater applications, industry, and the building services sector – well-known under its brand names ABS, Pumpex and Lorentzen & Wettre – plans to adapt to the market situation.
The global pump search engine Spaix.NET of multiple manufacturers and of different industrial sectors now features a significantly extended database and an improved software.
