LEDERLE – HERMETIC established a contract with the American Pump & Machine Works, Inc. as authorized service workshop for the products of the group.

With its new patented seal system for filling needle and filling pipe systems, valve producer GEMÜ has brought to market the first ever adaptation option for filling needles that ensures hermetic separation between the actuator and medium. This means that any lift effect and contamination of the medium can be avoided.

The demands on production systems for medically necessary oligonucleotides are high. Chemical resistance and biological integrity are just as important today as enormous flexibility in order to be able to synthesise a wide variety of drugs. With its special diaphragm metering pumps, LEWA GmbH guarantees compliance with these requirements even for critical mixing tasks and, in addition to standardised platform technologies, even provides customer-specific GMP-compliant systems.

Using canned motor technology for submersible pumps provides significant advantages. At this year’s Anuga FoodTec, pump manufacturer LEWA will be presenting its newly developed LEWA homogenizer test system, that can be used to test the aseptic functioning of a homogenizer based on a hygienic hermetic process diaphragm pump. Thanks to a homogenizing valve that is also hygienic, it can be flexibly adjusted to the requirements of different emulsions.
