The new election of six employee representatives has changed the composition of the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft and its Committees. Kurt-Jürgen Löw was elected new Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board as successor to Reinhold Siegers, who had held this position since 1998 and did not stand for re-election on account of his plans to retire.

ABB announced that Timo Ihamuotila has been named Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee, effective April 1, 2017.

In line with the new “MOL Group 2030 – Enter Tomorrow” strategy, the Board of Directors – at its meeting held on the 13th October – approved the following organizational and personnel changes with the aim to better support the realization of the strategic goals.

Flowserve Corporation announced that Mark Blinn plans to retire as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. To ensure an orderly transition, Mr. Blinn will remain in those roles until the appointment of his successor.

Torsten Wintergerste, ad interim Division President Chemtech since June 2016, is confirmed as Division President Chemtech and replaces Oliver Bailer on the Executive Committee of Sulzer. Oliver Bailer, with Sulzer’s support, has extended his leave of absence.

ABB has appointed Guido Jouret, a pioneer of the Internet of Things, as Chief Digital Officer, reporting to ABB’s CEO Ulrich Spiesshofer, effective October 1, 2016. Jouret will lead the next level of development and deployment of ABB’s digital solutions for customers globally and across all businesses.

Parker Hannifin Corporation announced that its Board of Directors has elected William R. “Skip” Bowman, age 58, as Vice President and President – Instrumentation Group. Mr. Bowman succeeds John R. Greco, who recently announced plans to retire effective September 30, 2016 after more than 40 years of dedicated service to the company.
