Building on its highly successful Pump System Optimization Education and Training Program that helps participants of different industries operate pump system more efficiency in achieving energy savings of 20% to 40%, the Hydraulic Institute is developing a broader Pump Systems Assessment Certification Program (PSAP) that will provide a method to assess the credentials and capabilities of individuals who do pump systems assessments and evaluations based on a rigorous testing protocol.

The Mostra Covegno Expocomfort (MCE) Asia exhibition will return for its second edition in Singapore from 7 to 9 September 2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. A geo-clone of the highly established mother show in Milan, Italy, MCE Asia will be a comprehensive showcase of the best-in-class technologies and solutions spanning the four macro areas of Cooling, Water, Renewable Energy and Heating within the built environment.

The Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia) 2016 closed on a successful note, with over 20,000 industry executives and technical professionals from 70 countries having enjoyed a variety of high-level sessions, multi-stream technical programme and large exhibition. The event drew speakers from the highest echelons of government, operators, service providers, advisory and research firms and academia.

Recent research conducted shows that Southeast Asia’s industrial sector is set to grow in the coming years. To capture these buoyant markets, HVACR/PS is expanding with a greater focus on Southeast Asia and as such, the exhibition has been renamed “HVACR/PS Southeast Asia”. The 2016 edition opens its doors once again to welcome the industrial community at the Jakarta International Expo, 23 – 25 November 2016.

More than 3,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, some 135,000 expected visitors and 230,000 square meters of exhibition space: Those are the key figures for IFAT 2016, which takes place at the Messe München trade-fair center from May 30 to June 3. Massachusetts Department of Environment Protection (MassDEP) recently kicked off a Pump System Optimization Training Program in conjunction with the Hydraulic Institute (HI) to conduct pump system optimization and pumping energy assessments on both drinking water and wastewater facilities across the state.

The Hydraulic Institute introduces member company, Crane Pump & Systems, as the latest company to have their pump test laboratory approved through the HI Pump Test Lab Approval Program. The approved pump test lab is located at 430 3rd Street, Piqua, OH.

In 2015 IFAT Eurasia celebrated its premiere in Ankara. For its next edition, this Turkish version of IFAT, the world´s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, is now moving to Istanbul. Between February 16 and 18, 2017, the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) will for the first time be the showplace for products and solutions specifically tailored to the environmental market in Eurasia.

Industrial Electromechanical Repair Services (IER), in conjunction with WEG Electric Corporation, will conduct a full-day Pump Systems Optimization (PSO) course with the Hydraulic Institute (HI) on April 15, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.

The 6th North Africa Petroleum Exhibition and Conferences (NAPEC) began in Algiers with 25,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors from 30 countries expected to attend and contribute.
