Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Asia 2016: The Gateway to the Growth Potential of Southeast Asia’s Building Market
The Mostra Covegno Expocomfort (MCE) Asia exhibition will return for its second edition in Singapore from 7 to 9 September 2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. A geo-clone of the highly established mother show in Milan, Italy, MCE Asia will be a comprehensive showcase of the best-in-class technologies and solutions spanning the four macro areas of Cooling, Water, Renewable Energy and Heating within the built environment.
Set against a backdrop of accelerated change towards green buildings after COP21 in Paris and a forecast of $68.93 billion for the global HVAC market by 2022, the return of MCE Asia is highly anticipated by the market. A diverse mix of international exhibiting companies have already confirmed their presence at MCE Asia 2016, including returning companies like Ariston Thermo Pte Ltd, Aquametro (S.E.A) Pte Ltd, BELIMO Actuators Limited, ebm-papst SEA Pte Ltd, Lee Hung Scientific Pte Ltd, Reliable Controls Corporation, Reflex Winkelmann GmbH, and SMARDT Chillers Pte Ltd, as well as new exhibiting companies like George Fischer Pte Ltd, Giacomini Asia-Pacific Limited, and Picenza JSC Vietnam.
“Delighted by the warm reception we received at MCE Asia 2015, we are excited to exhibit again at MCE Asia 2016, and open more doors in the regional markets”, said Dan Testar, Manager of Reflex Winkelmann GmBH, Asia Pacific.
“With increasing calls for sustainability and energy efficiency, as the community becomes more aware of the imposing economic and social impacts of environmentalism, MCE Asia is a timely gateway for us to sharpen our profile in Southeast Asia, introduce sustainable solutions, forge promising partnerships and strike targeted conversations with the key audience”, said Bruno Meier, Head of Business Unit Asia, GF Piping Systems.
“MCE Asia defines the thermic comfort ecosystem and it is where the giants of the industry assemble. We’re excited to be part of an electrifying edition in 2016 and look forward to showcasing our latest offerings”, said Amar Subash G, Director – South East Pacific, Ariston Thermo Pte Ltd.
MCE Asia and its co-located green building tradeshow, Build Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia, will jointly bring together more than 550 exhibiting companies from 40 countries to showcase the latest innovations from the sectors of HVAC-R, plumbing, automatic controls, measuring instruments regulation and control, valves and renewable energy. The exhibition is targeted at specialised building professionals within the commercial, industrial, residential and hospitality sectors, and other professionals who are concerned with the above evolving trends.
“As a co-located exhibition to BEX Asia, MCE Asia’s focus on the HVAC-R, water and renewable energy sectors completes the value-chain of solutions and knowledge for the building and construction community. Many building and construction professionals from the region find BEX and MCE Asia very valuable as a one-stop platform that optimizes their opportunities for sourcing, networking and professional enrichment. In 2015, more than 75% of our visitors were decision makers, specifiers or influencers, and both exhibitions concluded with more than US$125 million expected in business transactions”, said Louise Chua, Project Director of BEX Asia 2016 and MCE Asia 2016.
“We are excited to partner with Reed Exhibitions Singapore again for the second edition of MCE Asia. The market is increasingly global and it is our mission to generate new business opportunities for manufacturers by matching them with the burgeoning need in Southeast Asia for efficient solutions in HVAC, water and renewable energy. MCE Asia will be an invaluable gateway to the Southeast Asian building market for any companies that have an eye on expansion”, said Massimiliano Pierini, Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions Italia.
Highlights of MCE Asia 2016 include a customized business-matching programme, Asian trade delegations, as well as daily themed seminars and networking events that will deliver a more targeted audience to exhibiting companies. MCE Asia 2016 also walks the green talk by incorporating sustainability throughout its planning and execution, with initiatives that ranges from electronic marketing materials, energy-efficient lighting on the show floor and last but not least, a “Go Green, Dress Lean” dress code that encourages exhibitors and visitors to not wear coats and ties so that temperatures and energy usage can be optimized.
MCE Asia is supported by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) and the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC). Together with BEX Asia, MCE Asia is also the anchor trade platform during the Singapore Green Building Week.
Also taking place alongside MCE and BEX Asia 2016, is the International Green Building Conference (IGBC) organised by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA). Set to be a strategic gathering of green building experts, policy-makers, academics, and built environment practitioners, these three key events are expected to promote a congregation of ideas that will encourage collaboration and learning, ultimately contributing to a greener and more sustainable environment.
MCE Asia 2016 will take place from 7 to 9 September 2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
