Recognising and rewarding engineering excellence, innovation and outstanding business performance, the Pump Industry Awards have become a benchmark for success across the UK pump sector. Year after year, the programme celebrates the people, products, projects, and organisations that continue to drive technical advancement and best practice throughout the industry.

The winners will be revealed during the prestigious Pump Industry Awards Presentation Dinner, to be held on Thursday 11th March 2027 at The Hilton at St George's Park, Burton upon Trent, where industry leaders and professionals will come together to celebrate the very best the sector has to offer.

Supported once again by the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), the Awards continue to reflect the Association's commitment to promoting excellence, encouraging innovation, and recognising those making a significant contribution to the future of the pump industry.

A key development for the 2027 programme is the introduction of the new Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year category. Recognising the increasingly important role that maintenance, repair and aftermarket support play in maximising asset performance, reliability and sustainability, the new award acknowledges the specialist organisations delivering exceptional service throughout the operational life of pumping equipment.

This year's award categories are:

  • Product of the Year – Sponsored by DFA Media
  • Project of the Year – Sponsored by World Pumps
  • Environmental Contribution of the Year – Sponsored by SPP Pumps
  • Manufacturer of the Year – Sponsored by WEG
  • Distributor of the Year – Sponsored by Caprari & Calpeda
  • Supplier of the Year – Sponsored by Wilo
  • Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year – Sponsored by Apex Pumps
  • Contribution to Skills & Training Award – Sponsored by ABB
  • Rising Star Award – Sponsored by Innomotics
  • Sustainable Contribution for a Better World – Sponsored by AESSEAL

Organisations and individuals wishing to be recognised for their achievements are encouraged to submit their nominations as early as possible. The closing date for entries is Friday 27th November 2026, after which an independent judging process will determine the finalists before the industry gathers in March to celebrate another outstanding year of achievement.

Wayne Rose, Chief Executive Officer of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), said:

"The Pump Industry Awards continue to provide an invaluable opportunity to recognise the innovation, engineering expertise and dedication that exist throughout our industry. Every year we see outstanding examples of organisations and individuals pushing the boundaries of performance, sustainability and technical excellence, and it is important that these achievements receive the recognition they deserve.

We are particularly pleased to introduce the new Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year category for 2027. As the industry places ever greater emphasis on asset reliability, operational efficiency and whole-life performance, the contribution made by specialist maintenance and repair providers has never been more significant. This new award acknowledges their vital role in supporting end users and ensuring pumping systems continue to perform at their very best.

On behalf of the BPMA, I would encourage every eligible business and individual to take the opportunity to enter this year's Awards. Whether you have developed an innovative product, delivered an exceptional project, invested in skills, embraced sustainability, or achieved excellence in any of our award categories, this is your chance to gain industry-wide recognition. We look forward to celebrating with our finalists and winners at what promises to be another memorable Awards Dinner in March 2027."
