Tapflo Introduces New, Improved Flap Valves Solution for Sanitary Pumps
The food sector is a very demanding industry with a great variety of products. This means that a pump that is dedicated for these applications has to be designed not only with highest hygienic standards but also be robust and versatile to meet the challenges of the market.
In 2011 Tapflo introduced a flap valve sanitary pump on the market. This allowed to handle liquids that contain big solids without making damage to them.
With the beginning of 2016, Tapflo has introduced an improved version of flap valves for sanitary pumps. The flap valve consists of fewer parts but is more robust, therefore extending pump lifetime. The T225 and T425 pump sizes can handle solids up to 50 mm and the pump reaches 4.5 meters dry suction head. Another key feature of the new design is that the flap valve itself is more hygienic and easier to clean.
Alongside with these changes the flap valve was also introduced to Tapflo biggest sanitary pump – T825.
