Gustaf will be responsible for customers in the boat-building sector as well as distributors in his territory, which extends from the Nordics and Baltics through Poland into Spain, Portugal and Turkey.

Gustaf brings a wealth of customer-focused experience to his new role. Prior to joining SPX FLOW he worked for Swedish-based company Dometic, which specialises in HVAC systems for marine applications, for 16 years. Originally trained as an electrical engineer, Gustaf has considerable international field sales experience – a background that he says has taught him the importance of attention to detail and how to manage customer expectations.

Commenting on the appointment, Dean Mitchell, Senior Sales Manager for Johnson Pump Marine, says: “The Area Sales Manager role was defined following an internal review of the Johnson Pump business to ensure that our sales efforts continue to be focussed on supporting customers in our core markets. Gustaf has the perfect combination of industry expertise and personal skills to grow our market share for pumping systems in the marine sector and will be a valuable member of our team.”

Gustaf Hamrén responded: “I am delighted to join SPX FLOW, and to be representing the Johnson Pump Marine brand: not only in my home country of Sweden, but at international level. The brand is highly regarded for its quality and reliability, and I am looking forward to helping boat-builders and marine OEM suppliers to select the best pumping solution for their application.”
