New Wilo Sewage Pumps

04.04.2012

With two new series, WILO SE has created a new basis for their submersible sewage pump range. Compared to the previous model series, the company is focusing on a "modular system" combined with optimum harmonisation for a range of applications.

For this, a large part of hydraulic and drive components have been standardised.

The submersible sewage pump "Wilo-Rexa FIT" is a universal solution for a large number of applications in building services and is designed for intermittent operation. Its fields of application include the pumping of drainage and sewage from sumps and tanks and house and site drainage in accordance with EN 12050-1. Here the pump ensures reliable drainage – even of fluid that flows in for longer durations. All versions of the "Wilo-Rexa-FIT" combine cast iron hydraulics with a stainless steel motor. In order to ensure quick and easy commissioning, the float switch is connected directly to the pump. This means that a switchbox does not need to be installed separately. Furthermore, the motor cable is pluggable. The new "Wilo-Rexa FIT" series replaces the "Wilo-Drain STS" series which was taken out of the delivery range in September 2012.

The second new model "Wilo-Rexa PRO" is designed for higher performance requirements and permanent operation. The hydraulics and motor of this new sewage pump are made entirely of cast iron. Its fields of application include the pumping of drainage and sewage from sumps and tanks in industry and municipal areas. The product can also be used for house and site drainage and conforms to DIN EN 12050-1. All versions in this series are Ex-rated in accordance with ATEX as standard. The individual variants can be individually configured and can also be operated with a frequency converter for pump speed adjustment if necessary.

The new Wilo series are currently both available in nominal diameters DN 50, DN 65 and DN 80. Non-blockage vortex impellers provide maximum reliability in all fields of application.

The "Rexa" models have helped Wilo to reduce the complexity of their delivery range for submersible sewage pumps significantly. Out of no more than 76 versions, a suitable sewage pump can be found for every requirement and request, quickly and according to needs. Thanks to reduced production and logistics processes, the manufacturer Wilo also contributes to lower energy and resource consumption.
