EPME is the sales and service company whose business portfolio in Europe includes dry and turbo molecular vacuum pumps as well as the business with CMP systems for chip manufacturing in semiconductor production and so-called gas extraction systems, e.g. for the chemical industry. As Dresden is a high-tech city known as "Silicon Saxony", where leading semiconductor companies are located, EPME's new overhaul center in Dresden will play an important role for EBARA's precision machinery business in the European market. To save energy, the expanded office building and overhaul center is equipped with LED lamps. A photovoltaic system for the buildings is also under discussion.
EBARA Group will help meet the future development of the "smart society" and the increased global demand for semiconductors by strengthening the production of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and the service and support of components. With the new repair center in Dresden, EPME is able to serve its customers faster.
The EBARA Group aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing the key issues identified in its long-term vision and implementing the medium-term management plan to increase shareholder value.
