BPMA Launches New Brochure to Promote Careers in the Pump Industry

The 2026 Pump Industry Awards are now open for entries, and the BPMA is calling on the industry to get involved and celebrate the innovations, individuals, and initiatives that continue to power this vital sector.

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) is reinforcing the vital importance of ongoing skills development for all engineers, contractors, and operatives involved in the selection, installation, operation, and maintenance of pump systems across UK industry. With pumping systems playing a critical role in sectors ranging from construction and water management to energy, manufacturing, and processing, the BPMA is calling on employers to prioritise technical training as a route to improved efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.

The British Pump Manufacturers Association is excited to announce that the nomination process for the 2026 Pump Industry Awards is now underway. This year’s Gala Dinner will take place on Thursday 19th March at The Hilton, St. George’s Park, Burton upon Trent.

On 13th March, and for the third consecutive year, the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) was delighted to return to the famous St George’s Park in Staffordshire for the staging of its 2025 Pump Industry Awards presentation evening.

From 17 to 21 March, the world’s leading trade fair ISH will once again present the latest trends and developments in the areas of water, heat and air. Pump manufacturers will also be there again, showcasing intelligent pumps and their further development into “smart pumps”. By integrating them with digital tools, they will demonstrate the possibilities of pumps for the building services of tomorrow.
