Global water utilities account for approximately 2 percent of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions – the equivalent of the world’s shipping industry. And this figure is set to spiral as utilities work towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal of universal access to water and sanitation by 2030.
Xylem Inc. reported third quarter 2021 revenue of $1.27 billion. Revenues grew 4 percent on a reported basis, and 2 percent organically. Strong global demand was moderated by supply constraints slowing order-to-revenue conversion.
