In the first six months of the financial year, BWT – the Best Water Technology Group – had very different sales and earnings results in its two main divisions Aqua Ecolife Technologies (AET) and Aqua Systems Technologies (AST). While the AET division developed well, despite the difficult German market, the decline of sales and margins in the semiconductor business resulted in losses in the AST division, which ultimately strongly impaired the group result.

Sales and earnings performance of BWT is in 2003 considerably impaired by the weak semiconductor industry business. Due to the decline in the semiconductor industry business of the “AST – Aqua Systems Technologies” division, the Management Board is reducing the sales and earnings forecasts of the BWT Group for 2003.

As expected, the start into the current financial year was difficult for the BWT Group – Best Water Technology. In the first quarter, Europe’s market leader in water processing posted a sales and earnings decline, due largely to the down-turn in the semiconductor business.

The BWT Group (Best Water Technology), Europe’s leading water treatment group, will meet the sales and earnings targets presented at the beginning of October 2002 for the 2002 financial year.

Despite the continuing poor economic framework, BWT – Best Water Technology –Group of companies, Europe’s market leader in water treatment, was able to grow turnover and group results during the first three quarters of the current business year as compared to the previous year.

The Ballast Water Management convention has required Pritchard-Gordon Tankers to retrofit existing vessels with a ballast water treatment system. Optimizing the existing Ellehammer ejector ensures a working de-ballasting solution.

HAGEDORN Products & Systems GmbH is Hamworthy Pumps’ new agent in Germany & Finland. The company is based in Hemmoor near the River Elbe, between Hamburg, Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven, Germany. The partnership agreement was concluded in early June 2021, and its results are already showing.

American Ship Repair (ASR) is Hamworthy Pumps’ new agent in the US. The company is based in Brooklyn, New York, and was established in 1951.
