Hidrostal Limited, the Newbury based manufacturer and supplier of pumping solutions, has successfully completed the mechanical and electrical installation of two foul pumping stations at the Castlepoint Centre redevelopment in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Hidrostal Limited, based in Newbury, Berkshire have been awarded a contract to supply pumps to transfer surface water runoff, which can contain traces of oil, aviation fuel, de-icer fluid etc, from the runway and car park at the new Terminal facility at Heathrow Terminal 5, to a downstream separator.

Saudi Aramco, Ras Tanura Refinery, Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant have placed a substantial order with Hidrostal (UK) Limited for three Hidrostal horizontal screw centrifugal 400 mm end suction pumps of stainless steel construction.

Hidrostal Limited has made the transition from ISO 9001 : 1994 to BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000. In addition it has obtained Environment accreditation to BS EN ISO 14001 : 1996 within a nine month time frame.

Hidrostal non-clogging pump technology is being used to good effect at the seven consecutive pumping sites on the Grand Union canal, located between Radford and Itchington Bottom, to pump canal water back to maintain an adequate water level when required.

Atlas Copco has been commended by the Peruvian Government for helping communities recover from the devastating floods caused by the ‘Fenómeno del Niño’ storm. The Ministry of Labour of Peru recognised Atlas Copco’s efforts in the northern city of Piura at an awards ceremony for companies that provided immediate assistance in the wake of the natural disaster. The award grants Atlas Copco the distinctive denomination of S.O.S Company in Peru.
