After TrendSet, the pilot trade fair for Messe München under coronavirus conditions, was held successfully in July, IAA Mobility took place in September with an elaborate safety and hygiene concept.
The Transalpine Pipeline (TAL) connecting Italy, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic relies on AUMA actuators for the safe and reliable transport of crude oil. AUMA has been awarded a framework agreement covering the replacement of existing valve actuators with its proven SAEx 25.1 actuators. As part of the five-year agreement, the AUMA actuators will be installed in the pumping stations along the Austrian part of the pipeline.
AUMA supplied more than 150 electric actuators to Singapore’s new Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant (KMEDP). The plant was selected as ‘Desalination plant of the year’ at the Global Water Awards 2021.

bauma, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, is postponed to autumn 2022. That is the result of many discussions between Messe München and top industry representatives as well as the Advisory Board. New date is October 24–30, 2022.
Messe Muenchen South Africa, organisers of bauma CONEXPO AFRICA, have announced that this key pan-African trade show for construction, building material, mining, agriculture & forestry machinery and vehicles, will not take place in 2021 as planned. The event had been scheduled to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from October 13 – 16, 2021.
After four show days, bauma China 2020 ended on November 27. Despite the COVID-19 crisis and the latest travel restrictions, this year’s exhibition attracted 2,867 exhibitors and around 80,000 high-quality trade visitors.
Preparations for bauma CHINA 2020, which takes place from November 24 to 27 in Shanghai, are in full swing.
