Colfax Fluid Handling introduces it´s new intelligent platform for condition and operation monitoring. The platform was developed specifically for pumps that are used in operationally-critical and environmentally-sensitive applications in chemical engineering.

The high performance range of Micropump leak free, pulseless magnet drive pumps are now available with all-new compact and lightweight electromagnetic brushless DC motors which provide increased torque and power. Available through Michael Smith Engineers the new EagleDrive EL and MS electromagnetic drives represent high performance drive options which extend the potential applications for the established Micropump range.

Flowserve Corporation reported Adjusted1 Earnings Per Share (EPS) of $0.58 for the 2015 first quarter, which includes $0.06 per share of negative currency translation as compared to last year, and excludes $0.38 per share of adjusted items.

At the end of its’ life, a car yields on average, 140 kilos of shredder waste: 26 kg of metals, 69 kg of plastics, 11 kg of minerals and 24 kg of fibres. In Tiel, Netherlands, a Post Shredder Treatment plant (PST) was built in 2011, for the recycling of cars.

Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced the introduction of its E.2 Pump-Less Volute (PLV) kit which is designed to upgrade, renew or replace all working parts of all models in the E Series family of circulators.

Xylem Inc. reported first quarter 2015 net income of $64 million, or $0.35 per share. Excluding the gain from the sale of businesses, restructuring and realignment charges and other special items, adjusted net income was $60 million or $0.33 per share, a decrease of one cent or three percent from the comparable period in 2014.

Grundfos has recently appointed Mr Hasan Avci to head its Strategy, Commercial Excellence and Marketing functions in the Asia Pacific region. The new appointment reflects the company’s intent to strengthen customer centricity with the support of improved commercial excellence processes.
