The long-standing habit of “playing it safe” when specifying pump systems could be quietly driving up energy costs and reducing system performance across UK buildings, according to water technology company DAB Pumps.

The sales team at Armstrong Industrial has been further strengthened with three recent appointments to serve customers in North America and in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Pump Action Limited, a provider of pump and engineering solutions, announces the appointment of David McIntosh as their new Sales Director. David brings over 15 years of experience in the pump industry. His extensive technical expertise, market knowledge and proven ability to adapt to evolving industry demands will ensure that Pump Action continues to deliver and go above and beyond for our customers.

With immediate effect, the KHS Group is giving beverage producers more help with the servicing of their machines. Thanks to the addition of various new functions, KHS ConnectApp Guide now makes maintenance management even more efficient: by integrating bills of materials and introducing dynamic, usage-dependent maintenance intervals, the application is better attuned to the actual level of system wear. This saves time, conserves resources and optimizes spare parts stockkeeping.

Global machinery and plant manufacturer GEA delivered a very good performance in the first quarter of 2026. The Company improved all relevant financial performance metrics compared to the prior-year quarter.

Svanehoj further expands its marine service and aftersales business in the Benelux region by acquiring H&K Services B.V., a Dutch company specializing in the service and repair of marine fuel and cargo gas pumps. H&K Services will operate under the Svanehoj EPS name from its current location in Stellendam, the Netherlands, close to Svanehoj’s regional service site in Oud Gastel. The transaction closed on 1 May 2026.

Packo, a Verder company, announces that the production of Verdermag magnetic drive pumps is now fully integrated into its manufacturing facility in Diksmuide, Belgium.

At its Annual General Meeting for the 2025 financial year, pump and valve manufacturer KSB presented results that once again surpassed those of the previous year. In 2025, the SDAX-listed Group passed the € 3 billion mark in both order intake and, for the first time, sales revenue. The company also increased its EBIT (earnings before finance income / expense and income tax).

In its 60th anniversary year— since 1966, IFAT Munich has been the global meeting place for environmental technology industry —the world-leading trade fair is celebrating new record figures. Around 3,400 exhibitors and some 142,000 visitors attended the trade fair from May 4 to 7, 2026. LEWA has significantly improved the performance of its LEWA ecoflow LDH Boxer (LDHB) process pump by20%, enabling operators to improve efficiency. The upgrade allows users to boost performance without resizing equipment or increasing system costs. For example, at a flow rate of 2,200 l/h, the maximum discharge pressure rises from 622 bar to 746 bar. Alternatively, at 75 bar, flow capacity increases from 18,000 l/h to 21,600 l/h.
