After six years of anticipation, AchemAsia, the International Expo and Innovation Forum for Sustainable Chemical Production, has returned with a renewed spirit, bringing together global expertise, Chinese innovation, and a shared commitment to a greener industrial future. That is the conclusion of the organisers of AchemAsia.

From 9 to 12 September, 2026, the Water Indonesia trade fair will take place in Jakarta. The organizer is PT Pamerindo, part of Informa Markets.

With 267 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, the 12th AchemAsia opened its doors in Shanghai, China. With a focus on sustainable chemical production, plant and equipment manufacturers, suppliers to the process industry and service providers will be showcasing the latest solutions for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries until Thursday.

From 14 to 18 June 2027, ACHEMA will be back at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds, placing even greater emphasis on the future-oriented topics of energy, life sciences, sustainability and digitalisation. Exhibitors can register now.

The new look AEMT annual conference, which celebrated the Association’s 80th anniversary, has been hailed a resounding success by visitors, exhibitors, sponsors and the organisers. The conference, held on 18 September at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, drew a record number of delegates, making it the largest conference ever staged by the AEMT.

ACHEMA Middle East was officially launched at an executive-level ceremony in Riyadh, Saudia-Arabia, on 18 September 2025, marking the beginning of a new era for the region’s process industries. Organised by DECHEMA in strategic partnership with Messe Frankfurt and supported by the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the launch event brought together senior figures from government, business, and the global scientific community.

Rockwell Automation, Inc. will highlight its latest innovations for the water industry at WEFTEC 2025. From Sept. 27–Oct. 1 in Chicago, attendees can visit Rockwell within the Circular Water Economy Pavillion to see how advanced control and digital technologies are transforming the way utilities and treatment plants operate.

Under the title of “Water – Shaping the Future”, leading representatives from the science, political and business sectors gathered together in Venice for the annual Wilo industry conference. Invited to attend by the multinational water technology group, various experts discussed the key challenges they face in dealing with this increasingly scarce resource and the ways in which they could respond to them.

A first-of-its-kind event, organised by the Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades (AEMT) in close collaboration with Sulzer, was held at Sulzer’s Birmingham facility and brought together apprentices from across the electromechanical sector for an inspiring day of networking, learning, and hands-on team building.
