Ebara Corporation launches the GSO model for industrial process pumps mainly in China and Southeast Asia markets in June 2019. In addition to existing GS and GSS models, the new GSO model expands Ebara’s product lines. Compatible with different applications ranging from freshwater to chemical solutions, the GS series will be developed as global key products around the world after China and Southeast Asia, which are initial target markets.

The new Dulcoflex Control extends the ProMinent portfolio with a new intelligent peristaltic metering pump. The new pump meters reliably 10 ml/h up to 30 l/h at up to 7 bar. A brushless three-phase motor forms the heart of the Dulcoflex Control.

The Ingelfingen-based valve specialist GEMÜ is launching electrical position indicators for manually and pneumatically operated quarter turn valves.

Short-term thermal treatment is used in the food industry for a wide range of products such as milk, mixed drinks or liquid foods. This treatment kills off any pathogenic micro-organisms and extends the shelf life of the products. Since high-pressure homogenization may not re-contaminate food products after thermal treatment, it must be ensured that all components being used have a hygienic or – even better – aseptic design, material selection and integration. Gebr. Becker is expanding its range of rotary vane vacuum pumps in the O5 series by the sizes O5.10, O5.16 and O5.21. These pumps have been specially developed for applications in the food packaging industry. The pumps have a maximum flow rate of 10 to 23.5 m³/h.
