Atlas Copco Portable Energy today announced a significant expansion of its dewatering pump solutions with the introduction of a new range of diesel-driven portable pumps.

Following the successful launch of the revolutionary Qdos 30 peristaltic metering pump, Watson-Marlow Pumps Group is now introducing the larger Qdos 60 model. This versatile new pump is designed to save costs in chemical metering applications thanks to its inherent higher accuracy metering.

WEG has extensively updated its portfolio of standard industrial motors with the W40, W50 and W60 series. Thanks to the optimised design, the new compact three-phase induction motors deliver reliable high performance even under adverse conditions.

The benefits of using sealless, magnetic-drive pumps as opposed to conventionally sealed pumps for transferring hazardous and reactive fluids are well documented, and the Viking Universal Mag Drive Series of Internal Gear Pumps, is a good example of this type of pump. Available from Michael Smith Engineers the proven and reliable Universal Mag Drive series comprises nine sizes of pump providing flows up to 114m³/hr at pressures up to 14 Bar.

Xylem (NYSE: XYL)has announced that its Godwin Field Smart Technology is now available outside the US for the first time. The company confirmed that the technology is now available to customers across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific and the first demonstration will be in Europe during the Hillhead 2014 trade show at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, UK.
