GF Piping Systems, a division of GF, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its production site in Seewis (GR), Switzerland. With its innovations in high-tech plastic valves and actuators, the Grisons-based company has had a lasting impact on the plastic valve industry.

Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) recently built a new manufacturing division at the company’s mother plant in Kirloskarvadi called ‘Advanced Technology Product Division (ATPD)’.

In April 2021, EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME), an overseas company of EBARA Corporation in Germany, commissioned its new dry vacuum pump overhaul center in Dresden. It is the second overhaul center for EPME. The first damaged pump, type EV-S100N, arrived at the end of April and was overhauled.

The new office, which is legally a representative office of DESMI Pumping Technology A/S, will be headed by our new colleague, Simone Carluccio, as of 1st June 2021. 

Sulzer is expanding its presence in Denmark with the construction of a new service center that will provide its full range of product sales and maintenance services throughout the region, all from under one roof. The new facility will join Sulzer’s global network of service centers that work together to deliver local support backed by worldwide expertise.

Sulzer is launching a major investment project to digitalize and automate the assembly, test bed and painting processes in its Finnish factory in Kotka, located 130 km east of Helsinki. With the enhanced automation of production processes, Sulzer will improve productivity and shorten lead times for customer orders.

Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced plans to relocate its West Midlands factory, warehouse and offices to larger premises in nearby Droitwich. The move will enable the company to continue expansion of its UK production capabilities, to meet growing worldwide demand for its off-site manufactured plantrooms and energy centres.

KSB Australia has made another significant investment in a fully automated pump test bay at its Hope Valley Facility in Perth. Recently commissioned, this new capability extends the services of the 3,000 square meter workshop and now provides extensive resources for repairing rotating equipment and assembling pumping equipment.

On 4 February 2021, the Wilo Group invited to celebrate the opening of its new headquarters in Dortmund, the Wilopark. Over 1,500 high-ranking international guests from the world of business and politics as well as Wilo employees took part in the digital (due to coronavirus pandemic) event.
