Xylem Inc. reported first-quarter results. The Company’s total revenue of $2.0 billion surpassed prior guidance, on strong execution and demand. First-quarter earnings also exceeded Xylem’s previous guidance.

The Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer KSB is continuing the positive development of the 2023 financial year in the first quarter of 2024. The key performance indicators order intake, sales revenue, earnings before finance income / expense and income tax (EBIT) and EBIT margin are all up on the comparative prior-year quarter.

Endress+Hauser has written the next chapter in its success story. The specialist for measurement and automation technology marked its 70th birthday in 2023, with celebrations worldwide. It also prepared the way for a change at the helm.

The Wilo Group continued to grow profitably and sustainably in 2023. Despite a challenging market environment, the multinational technology group achieved record net sales of around EUR 2 billion in the 2023 financial year. This corresponds to a currency-adjusted increase of 10.4 per cent compared to the previous year.

In an environment marked by geopolitical uncertainty, rising interest rates and negative exchange rate developments, GEA’s business has continued to perform well, with a further improvement in its key financial figures and another dividend increase proposed.

Grundfos delivered healthy sales growth in 2023 while reducing its own water and energy footprint as well as supporting customers in lowering their water and energy consumption.

With sales of CHF 465 million, the Kistler Group recorded growth of 7.1 percent in 2023, or 14.2 percent adjusted for currency effects. At CHF 429 million, incoming orders remained below expectations and 14.8 percent below the previous year’s result. Despite difficult market conditions, Kistler is investing in innovation and the development of new markets.

Sulzer reports strong results for 2023 with a sales increase of 13.2% compared to the previous year and a marked increase in operational profitability. Order Intake in 2023 increased by 13.9% with all three divisions contributing to this performance.

Endress+Hauser has developed strongly in its 70th anniversary year. The specialist for measurement technology and automation solutions increased its consolidated sales by 11 percent to more than 3.7 billion euros in 2023.
