Building on the success of such offerings at previous AHR Expos, the 2017 Show, to be held January 30 to February 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature a wide array of educational opportunities. Throughout the week, contractors, engineers and other show attendees will have the chance to participate in numerous free seminars and presentations, paid programming and professional certification exams – all further enhancing the value of Show attendance.

Unlike for us, water does not come from a tap in many countries, where this life-giving resource is scarce. Around the world 650 million people have no access to clean drinking water. In order to let schoolchildren and other interested visitors find out about every aspect of this important resource, at Wasser Berlin International 2017 Messe Berlin is organising the 13th edition of WASsERLEBEN, an interactive exhibition.

Each year as part of its submission process, the AHR Expo Innovation Awards Competition collects entry fees that are then donated in full to a charitable organization within regional proximity to the corresponding year’s show.

For the second time in the run-up to Wasser Berlin International Messe Berlin and Berliner Wasserbetriebe extended an invitation to Ambassadors’ Day. 11 ambassadors and numerous high-ranking diplomats from around the world took the opportunity to gain an insight into ’water expertise’ in Berlin and to gather for an informal meeting afterwards.

Ruhrpumpen has recently completed an order for an API 674 3rd edition Reciprocating Plunger Pump from INFRA Technology for use in a plant demonstrating the production of synthetic crude from natural gas in Wharton, close to Houston, Texas, USA.

Ebara held seminars on Flood Control pumps from August 24 to 31, at Bangkok Thailand. This was the 26th time Ebara held seminars in cooperation with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). A total of 56 participants from seven Southeast Asian countries attended, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Cambodia, Laos.

Actions carried out now will build a water sector that is resilient to climate change. Speaking at the EurEau conference, the Director of the European Environment Agency Hans Bruyninckx stressed the importance of ensuring the water supply.
