he Wilo Group has had a successful financial year in 2022. The multinational technology group generated a new record turnover of around 1.9 billion euros in the year marking its 150th anniversary. Wilo thus increased its sales revenues by 14.2 percent. The company’s earnings before tax (EBITDA) rose by 8.6 percent to 196.7 million euros.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been agreed between Egypt and the UK’s leading water sector trade association to establish a framework for bilateral cooperation on water projects for 27 governorates and the new cities across Egypt.

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire National Pump & Energy. The business provides dewatering, environmental services and water treatment solutions in Australia and New Zealand. The company has 420 employees and in 2022 had revenues of approximately 205 MAUD.

Established in 1945, the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), which represents the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pump related equipment has enjoyed further membership growth in recent weeks, with four new members joining the Association.

On 20th of April 2023, Krones has signed an agreement to acquire 90% of Ampco Pumps Company LLC (Ampco Pumps). Based in Wisconsin, USA, Ampco Pumps is supplying sanitary pumps and applied products like mixing and blending equipment to the food, beverage, dairy processing, personal care and pharmaceuticals markets.

Orders YoY +31.2% organic, driven by double digit growth in all divisions. Order backlog increased to CHF 2.1bn. 2023 guidance confirmed.

With its third company acquisition in just over two years, marine pump specialist Svanehøj continues to expand its service solution business. This time by taking over California-based Complete Cryogenic Services, a specialist in service and overhaul of submerged pumps on LNG tankers.
