Flender announces the appointment of Tommy Rahbek Nielsen as President of its Business Segment Wind, effective September 1, 2025. Tommy Rahbek Nielsen will succeed Aarnout Kant, who will continue to spearhead strategic global projects within the company and maintain his role as General Manager Americas, reporting directly to the Group CEO.

German drive manufacturer Flender has reached an agreement with the Finnish technology group Wärtsilä to acquire the service business for wind and industrial gearboxes from Wärtsilä Brasil Ltda. Flender has incorporated Flender Brasil Ltda. as a subsidiary intended to receive the assets upon closing, subject to CADE’s approval.
