NOV Mono Keeps Irrigation Water Flowing In New Zealand

A high efficiency diary effluent pump from NOV Mono has delivered significant benefits to the end-user on an agricultural irrigation project in New Zealand. The Mono progressing cavity pump has helped increase the efficiency of the irrigation, and also minimised the time spent on the process at the farm in Te Awamutu, on the country’s North Island.

Valves for a Power Station of the Future

As part of the “725 HWTII” project, KSB has successfully tested a high-performance gate valve at the “Großkraftwerk Mannheim (GKM)” power plant. The gate valve is designed for a new generation of fossil-fuelled power stations with improved efficiency achieved by using steam temperatures above 700 °C.

Voith Receives New Orders for Equipment and Modernization of Two Hydropower Plants in the Himalayas

Voith has received two new orders to supply the equipment for hydropower plants in the Himalayas: These comprise the complete electromechanical equipment for three generating units at the Rasuwaghadi Hydropower Plant in Nepal as well as the modernization of six turbine runners at the Salal Hydroelectric Project in India. The two projects have a total order volume of more than 23 million Euros and will both be carried out by Voith Hydro in India.
