Sudsplanter Ltd has delivered a multi-site sustainable drainage project across seven schools in the London Borough of Merton helping to manage surface water runoff and reduce localised flooding. Identified by the council as being at high risk of surface water flooding through risk mapping, the schools had experienced recurring problems, including water pooling in playgrounds, that disrupted outdoor activities and, in some cases, flooding which impacted classrooms and learning environments.

Anglian Water has signed a two-year extension to its condition-based monitoring (CBM) framework with industrial artificial intelligence (AI) specialist Samotics. Agreed in April, the framework covers more than 250 clean water assets currently monitored by Samotics’ SAM4 predictive maintenance system across Anglian Water’s operations.
