At the end of 2012, the KSB Group delivered pumps for a solar thermal power plant located 60 kilometres south-east of Seville in Andalusia. The units in question were seven process pumps for pumping thermal oil at a drive rating of up to 315 kW, and four canned motor pumps with maximum 45 kW.

Andritz Hydro has received an order from Nalcor Energy to supply four 209 megawatt (MW) Kaplan turbines and four synchronous generators for the new Muskrat Falls hydropower plant in Labrador, Canada. Commissioning is scheduled for 2017.

Xylem Inc. has won a contract to develop a customised water treatment system for the town of Taralga, situated 140 kilometres south west of Sydney, Australia.

Sulzer Pumps Ltd and FMC Technologies, Inc. strengthened their existing relationship through the signing of a long-term and exclusive collaboration agreement. This agreement addresses the supply of pumps for subsea applications and the further development of pumping technology of Sulzer Pumps to meet the future needs of FMC Technologies and the subsea exploration and production industry.
