A pair of Series ‘A’ Munchers from NOV Mono have helped reduce maintenance intervals and improve capacity at a major waste water treatment plant in Massachusetts, USA.

A total of 22 bulk carriers, being built by Yangzhou Guoyu Shipbuilding Co. Ltd in China for Singapore based Pioneer Marine, will feature Wärtsilä Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS). The Wärtsilä systems will enable the vessels to comply fully with the IMO s ballast water convention. The contracts were finalised in August.

A refurbishment project with German participation in Jordan is aiming at modernizing and thus securing the water supply for the city of Madaba. One-third of the project financing was provided by the GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) with two-thirds coming from future cost savings. NOV Mono has delivered a turnkey project to provide an extra level of protection for a major water and waste treatment plant in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The project centers on an EZstrip progressing cavity pump which is now being used on sewage transfer duties to ensure that the plant can guarantee the quality of the treated sewage under any flow conditions.

A high efficiency diary effluent pump from NOV Mono has delivered significant benefits to the end-user on an agricultural irrigation project in New Zealand.
