The Dortmund pump manufacturer Wilo SE announces the merger of Wilo Emuport GmbH and Wilo Emu GmbH to Wilo SE with retroactive effect from 01.01.2010.
The Dortmund pump manufacturer Wilo SE announces the merger of Wilo Emuport GmbH (Minden, Germany) and Wilo Emu GmbH (Hof, Germany) to Wilo SE.
With the merger of the two companies, which had been managed as subsidiaries until this date, the Dortmund pump manufacturer prepares the basis to participate in the ever more complex international project business in an optimum way. Wilo SE is one of the world’s leading manufacturers for pumps and pump systems for heating, air-conditioning and cooling technology, for water supply as well as for sewage treatment and disposal. During the past years, the company experienced continuous growth. Sales and earnings development proves this impressively. Wilo currently employs around 6,000 staff members throughout the world who achieved a turnover of 926 Euros in 2009. Mr. Oliver Hermes, Wilo Chairman of the Executive Board and responsible for Finances, Controlling and Human Resources explains: “For a few years already, there has been a harmonization of all business processes of the two subsidiaries with those of Wilo SE. The merger is now a logical step in order to further fulfil the requirements of the market and the demands of our customers for even more transparent and simple business processes.”
