At the recent Singapore MICE Awards (SMA) 2023, held on 27 July 2023, Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2022 was conferred the “Trade Show of the Year” Award.

As the first-ever award dedicated to the Meetings, Incentives, Convention and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, the SMA – an award by the industry for the industry – reflects the ever-increasing role that the industry play in driving Singapore’s economic growth and tourism receipts. Organized by the Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers (SACEOS) and supported by the Singapore Exhibitions & Convention Bureau (SECB), the Award is a testament to the unwavering resilience and spirit of innovation displayed by MICE companies and individuals over the past year.

Ryan Yuen, Managing Director, Singapore International Water Week, said “this award validates the work of our team and partners in pulling off a safe and impactful event amid challenges of the pandemic. It will motivate us to produce an even better show in 2024.”
