New Vortex Oil-less DC Compressor
Rietschle Thomas is pleased to announce the introduction of a new ½ HP, DC powered Vortex series compressor with unmatched performance. This compressor was designed to complement the extensive Rietschle Thomas DC compressor line for automotive and off-road applications.
The highlights of the Vortex VX050 DC model are an all aluminium design with corrosion protection for harsh duty applications, an enclosed crankcase and a long, service free life. The increased field service capability also includes the easy brush replacement after approx. 2500 hours (under certain conditions). Last not least the Vortex VX 050 DC models are designed for 100% duty cycle and a full rated pressure restart capability.
The series provides permanent magnet DC motors in 12 V DC or 24 V DC. Inquiries for special voltages are welcome. There are two model types available one with 50 psig (3,4 bar) max pressure and a free flow capability of 5.63 cfm (159 l/min) and a 100 psig (7 bar) max pressure version with 5.50 cfm (156 l/min) air displacement.
Vortex models meet the European standards including IP54 and CE approval.
