NETZSCH Pumps North America, LLC Announces New Distributor in the US

Sulzer has completed the first in a series of wastewater pumping stations for a Danish municipality. Replacing a pre-existing facility, the new station offers twice the capacity of the old one, while its highly efficient, horizontally mounted XFP pumps have cut energy demand by 40 percent.

NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme has received the “Fair Company” award for the twelfth time in a row. The initiative, founded by the Handelsblatt newspaper, is sustainably committed to a fair working environment. Fair Company is the largest and best-known employer initiative in Germany.

From a small workshop in Selb to an internationally successful mechanical engineering group: NETZSCH is ringing in its 150th anniversary year – and over 4,100 employees worldwide are joining in the celebration. The beginning is a copy of the same start-up pattern we often see today: Two brothers set up their own business in 1873 and, in a small workshop in Selb, developed a quality product that won over the fire departments of the region.

Environmental aspects and economic considerations play a decisive role, when municipal water works are considering the purchase of modern pumping technology. SEEPEX’s energy-efficient and low-maintenance Smart Air Injection (SAI) system ensures that thick sludge reaches its destination at low pressures, even over distances of one kilometer. One of the customers is the WWTP in Hetlingen in northern Germany. In the video, SEEPEX demonstrates the advantages of its technology.

Atlas Copco has developed a new versatile range of electric surface self-priming dewatering pumps for a wide variety of applications. The E-Pump range consists of different models with a canopy and open set configuration. This flexible solution is ideally suited for many applications like sewage bypass, in the municipality sector and construction projects with access to a power source.

Jens Heidkötter, Managing Director of NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme GmbH, was appointed to the Senate of Economy. The committee comprises a wide variety of personalities from business, science and society and sees itself as a link between the state and society.
