Lowara helps the village of Fume Avatime in Ghana, West Africa

Lowara helps to improve the quality of life in the village of Fume Avatime in Ghana, West Africa, building and sending a submersible pump, motor, and control box to the village of Fume Avatime in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa.

Fume Avatime is a small village of about 60 homes and 600people. They have been getting water from a stream that flowed through the area and it was not always clean. They now have a well that, with the use of the Lowara pump, will supply good clean water into their homes and their medical clinic. Included with the pump and well is a 1000 gallon storage tank and flow control valve and piping to the main streets in the village. Each homeowner will provide their own connection to the main line.
