ITT Launches AquaCharge Portable, Rechargeable and Submersible Hand-held Water Pump

ITT Corporation announced the launch of AquaCharge, a portable, rechargeable and fully submersible hand-held water pumping solution.

Created by ITT s Flow Control business, the launch represents an expansion of the company s innovative approach to providing unique solutions to meet evolving water management needs within the consumer markets.

"AquaCharge combines ITT s engineering expertise with our strategy to innovate quickly to meet customer needs," said Bob Wolpert, president of ITT Flow Control. "The efficiency, portability, and flexibility of AquaCharge provide an innovative solution that is consumer-driven."

The portable 3.6-pound AquaCharge operates on a low-voltage battery that allows continuous operation for up to 40 minutes. It is fully submersible and can be used to pump either fresh or salt water, allowing for both home and marine applications. The pump package includes a submersible pump and eight-foot hose, along with a rechargeable battery and convenient charging station. AquaCharge can connect to any standard garden hose and provides a 200-gallon pumping capacity per charge. It is ideal for tasks such as routine cleaning of hot tubs and aquariums, draining clogged sinks, responding to household flooding, and other general plumbing maintenance applications.
