ITT Launches AquaCharge Portable, Rechargeable and Submersible Hand-held Water Pump

On March 22, 2024, the world once again observes World Water Day. Under this year’s theme “Water for Peace,” the United Nations calls for actions that illustrate how sustainable water management can contribute to the creation of peace and stability worldwide.

Titled “Closing the Loop – Circular Water Economy”, the BLUE PLANET Berlin Water Dialogues will focus on the important topic of closed water cycles on 8 November 2023. The consequences of global climate change and the increasing scarcity of resources call for new and holistic ways of managing water.

Water and wastewater utilities are executing ambitious decarbonization goals, according to a new survey of 100 utilities in North America and Europe. Sponsored by Xylem, the survey finds that 75% of respondents intend to achieve greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals by 2040 or earlier. 48% of respondents have set a net-zero emissions goal, and 42% have set an emissions reduction goal.
